Larry Brown Fired (nobody surprised)
Larry Brown was fired. Not a surprise, and probably not his fault. The Knicks are continuing to strive to become the worst organization in professional sports, and are crashing and burning in spectacular fashion. Hey, as bad as your hometown sports team is, at least they ain't the Knicks. Damn they suck.
Here's how last season and this decision went down. Keep in mind, this isn't speculation. Like the photo caption above, this is simply fact. Isaiah Thomas decided, after losing over and over on NBA Live 2006 that his team needed to be shaken up a bit. Granted, it wasn't fair David Lee and Channing Frye had sub-70 ratings, EA didn't know about that. But still, something had to be done. So he traded for Steve Francis (after he turned on the trade override option), and suddenly the two point guards started winning. But outside his office, the real Knicks were still losing. "What the hell is the problem? This isn't that hard, Larry."
Then Thomas figured it out. I'm the one controlling the Xbox, I need to be the one controlling the team as well. Now you have Isaiah Thomas as the New York Knickerbocker head coach. This can't end well.
